Your First Visit

If you are a new or current patient with Dr. Altizer, thank you for your trust.  Throughout your visits, your optimal oral health and comfort are our primary goals.  We will treat you with respect and the highest quality of professional service and expert clinical care.  As part of that respect, we understand your time is valuable.  Unlike many offices, we do not overschedule our day and strive to remain 'on-time'.  There are, however, occasions that our schedule becomes disrupted due to circumstances out of our control (weather, emergencies, etc.).  When that occurs, we will make every effort to notify you of the delay.  We feel your time can be better spent doing things other than waiting endlessly in a reception room.

At your initial visit, our dental assistant will take digital X-Rays of your teeth so that we can find hidden problems.  Compared to film-based X-Rays of the past, digital X-Rays requires less radiation and are available instantly to be viewed on our chairside monitors.  Then a hygienist will clean your teeth, check your gums for periodontal disease, and give you helpful tips on effective brushing and flossing. Dr. Altizer will then evaluate your bite and dentition, paying special attention to your soft tissues for signs of oral cancer. He will use his findings and X-rays to determine a treatment plan that will accomplish your goals for oral healthcare and give you a smile you'll be proud to share with the world.

Whatever your situation, we want your visit with us to be rewarding and stress-free. Ask questions, tell us your concerns and expectations, and we will listen. Call the office of Dr. Stanley Altizer in Broadview Heights today to reserve your appointment. Patients from Hinckley and Richfield have trusted us with their smiles for over two decades.
